| Rosa Mexicano-DC shares the spirit of its sister restaurants in New York City in delivering authentic
Mexican cuisine in a stylish, festive atmosphere. Culinary Director Roberto Santibañez, an award-winning chef from
Mexico City, oversees the kitchen with Chef James Muir, who studied at The French Culinary Institute in New York City and
who trained with Santibañez at Rosa Mexicano-Lincoln Center.
Celebrated restaurant architect David
Rockwell, who created Rosa's striking interior at the Lincoln Center-area restaurant in New York, also designed the new 9,000-square
foot space. The restaurant features dramatic 14-foot high wrap-around windows and dining for 300+ people on three levels.
Notable design features include a floor-to-ceiling wall made of blue glass tile, an expansive bar and lounge area, as well
as a separate tequila bar offering a full range of tequilas, signature frozen pomegranate margaritas and other signature cocktails.
